This is the very 1st printed copy of my book. My publisher just sent this lovely Instagram of it nestled in a thick patch of grass, which is ironic considering how 420 friendly I am. And how correctly blunted I plan on being when it is finally in my hands and I can smell the ink and hear the spine crack as I open it wide and finally allow the whole situation to sink the fuck in. O.M.G. I am finally a published author with a book that has FUKT in the title and a story called HEAD IN A HELLO KITTY BAG inside. THIS is what 47 looks like. And for the first time I can honestly say and believe that it only gets better. One motherfucking day at a time.

“Descent Into Madness” is inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland
Aunia Kahn’s work combines many disciplines, wrapping them into a hybrid art form melding photography, painting and collage. She invariably designs, builds, and executes characters, non-existent places, dreams, illusions, fears and fables into creation, which meld elements of classical, and contemporary art. Each work makes use of her own likeness in movie-like stills, dealing in varied taboo and often controversial subject matter to challenge the viewer, their understanding and preconceived notions; yet she connects through honest feeling and emotions. Aunia’s work has constantly evolved, earlier works dealt more with her past, while her more recent creations delve into present emotional conflicts and inspirations.
Aunia Kahn is the creator of the Silver Era Tarot deck and the Lowbrow Tarot Project, is the author of Obvious Remote Chaos, a graphic/web designer and owner of Aunia Kahn Designs, as well as musician, vocalist and lyricist for her musical side-project AfterChain. She currently resides in Illinois with her four German Shepherds and two black cats in her secret closet.

Please come and support not only my book but the over 35 painters, photographers, sculptors, writers, empresses, performance & spoken word artists and basically living legends I collaborated with over the past two years, turning myself over to them and doing anything & everything they asked. I became the very willing and eager to please muse. A way eclectic collection of friends, ex lovers, just getting to know one another kids on the scene, long lost friends and unrequited loves. Reading random impromptu selections from the book will be the geniuses Chi Chi Valenti, Michael Alago, Paul Wirhun, Nicholas Gorham, Max Steele, Alberto Cortes, Jake Ryan & Derek Nicoletto. Kyle Kupres will seduce us with his violin while Nicholas Gorham tranfixes us with the vocal inflections of tomorrows fading film star magically reappearing in a raspier and so more realistic take on today. Sheba Legend drops the soulful, slightly nostalgic beats that take us back but not too far and only to the good places like Area where she made many a night memorable as you disco danced with yer baby. Chad Ferro is gonna get as naked as possible and remind all of us why we still love burlesque, live for correct ink and just couldn’t be happier that Mr. Ferro is once again ready to serve the kids fiercely in NYC, Thankfully for me first ;) He hints at strip Twister and bad boy shenanigans in the back courtyard of our favorite and the most ultra correct gallery to come around in a long time MUNCH, created, inspired, run and spearheaded by the ever amazing Lillan Munch. This is going to be an awesome one night only event. I will be signing the first 50 copies of the book throughout the madness. It will all be spread out between 5 - 6pm for an early viewing and then Sheba rocks the house whilst the performers & readers randomly appear at a seconds notice, sprinkled through-out the next 3 hours till 9pm.
